Glitch art, a genre that remained on the margins for a long time despite its revolutionary approach, is finally entering the global scene. Platform 101, a pioneering digital art institution from Iran, has collaborated with Glitch.art.br, an organization responsible for the popularization of glitch art in Brazil, to set a new standard for contemporary digital artists.
Last year, ten artists represented by Platform 101 exhibited their works at the fourth edition of the Glitch.art.br International Online Exhibition. The recently released e-book documenting this trailblazing event provides a deeper exploration of the fusion between Brazilian and Iranian glitch art.
