Our team is also proficient in shipping art to Japan that is known for its old temples, beautiful gardens, amazing architecture, and certainly great art.
Shipping art internationally to Japan
Shipping art internationally to Japan is not only about packing items in durable boxes and finding the right mode of transport. Since most art and antique pieces are highly fragile and delicate, each piece should be carefully protected in transit, hence the necessity of professional fine art crating services. Plus, international transportation of art is impossible without proper insurance coverage and paperwork. At Fine Art Shippers, we take care of the entire process of shipping, providing our clients with these and many other services to ensure that they receive their precious cargo with no complaints.
Amazing world of Japanese art
At Fine Art Shippers, we love shipping Japanese art. It is diverse, unique, and amazing in many ways. We take pride in knowing many Japanese artists, and it is always a rewarding experience to meet new talents at the international exhibitions and shows. At this year’s edition of VOLTA New York, we had the pleasure of speaking with Ryo Shinagawa, a young and promising artist working in a traditional Japanese painting style Nihonga. Shinagawa uses in his work natural pigments, Gofun, gold and silver leaf, ink, acrylic, and Japanese paper to create truly outstanding pieces that catch the eye and imagination. At VOLTA New York, Ryo Shinagawa’s solo show was presented by COHJU Contemporary Art, a Kyoto-based contemporary art gallery focused on a new generation of Japanese artists, mostly from Osaka, Kyoto, and Kansai region.
