Exclusive Modular and Designer Furniture by Shandor Hassan
Shandor Hassan was born in 1968 in Los Angeles, CA. After receiving his BFA degree in Photography from the University of New Mexico, he spent some time traveling throughout the United States and later Europe to develop and master his skills. To support his art career, Shandor Hassan started doing carpentry in New York, which would eventually grow into a full-fledged activity and an exclusive collection of modular and designer furniture.
Furniture design was not something new to Shandor Hassan. Being a third-generation designer and builder, he quickly found his place in the industry. Over the years, Shandor Hassan has created many exceptional pieces and worked for many reputable institutions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the International Center of Photography in New York. Shandor Hassan has also had a range of collaborative projects with other artists, designers, and architects. Today, Hassan continues to develop unique designs, creating exceptional modular and designer furniture for clients in the United States and Europe.
It is also worth noting that Shandor Hassan has established close collaboration with the Hungarian creative architect group Noppa. Together, they have developed Modular Furniture Concepts, a series of stylish modular furniture pieces compatible with European hardware systems.
At Fine Art Shippers, we want to wish Shandor Hassan lots of success and luck in his art and design career, and hope to see more of his amazing creations this year!
