Casey Kaplan – A Destination Art Gallery in New York

Casey Kaplan is a contemporary art gallery founded by Casey Kaplan in New York in 1995. The gallery started in an old loft building on SoHo’s Broadway, where it was located on the upper floor in a small 500 sq ft room. Over the following ten years, Casey Kaplan changed its location several times until moving into a 5,000 sq ft space in the famous Chelsea art district in 2005. In 2015, the gallery expanded once again when it moved into a 10,000 sq ft two-story space at 121 West 27th Street. This new location has made Casey Kaplan a destination art gallery in Manhattan, bringing some of the most talented artists to New York’s flower district.

For today, Casey Kaplan represents such contemporary talents as Kevin Beasley, Garth Weiser, Giorgio Griffa, Simon Starling, Haris Epaminonda, Judith Eisler, Liam Gillick, and Sarah Crowner, displaying their works at the well-curated exhibitions and shows. Besides, this art gallery takes part in many important art fairs, including Art Basel in Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach in Miami, and Frieze Art Fair in London. For example, Casey Kaplan had a powerful presentation at the recent edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, introducing works by Matthew Ronay, Mateo López, Matthew Brannon, Hugh Scott-Douglas, and other noteworthy artists to a wider international audience.

At Fine Art Shippers, we highly recommend that you visit Casey Kaplan in its beautiful location in Manhattan. You will love this art gallery and the amazing selection of artworks it offers!
