“Undergrowth” at Gallery North
“Undergrowth” is Lori Horowitz’s first solo exhibition with Gallery North, a not-for-profit art gallery located in Setauket, NY. The show features Horowitz’s mixed media sculptures, reliefs, and a series of photographs, inviting visitors to experience a magnificent three-dimensional artistic fusion of natural and human motifs. The main theme of “Undergrowth” is the artist’s effort to bring to the fore the often-neglected aspect of the human-natural ecosystem’s fragility and the intricate mechanisms that maintain its balance and existence. The exhibition will open at Gallery North on April 3 and will be on view through May 11, 2025. The Opening Reception and ArTalk, which will take place on April 3 and April 27 respectively, will be free and open to the public, with free refreshments and food provided.
