The Essential New York Art Fair
Originated in 1994, The Armory Show was the first large exhibition of modern art in America. Today, it is an essential New York art fair and also one of the most influential and prestigious modern and contemporary art events in the world, which inspires patronage, discovery, and dialogue in the visual arts.
The 2020 edition of The Armory Show will bring to New York many of the leading international galleries and an outstanding selection of 20th- and 21st-century artworks. The list of exhibitors includes Gagosian, Van Doren Waxter, Robert Koch Gallery, Peter Blum Gallery, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi, Brooke Alexander, and many other prominent galleries from around the globe. Gallery presentations will be complemented by live talks, thought-provoking conversations, and a series of panels that will be open to the public.
Let us also remind you that The Armory Show will be coinciding with many satellite fairs, such as Clio Art Fair and Art on Paper, not to mention numerous museum openings, gallery presentations, performances, and other art events held in New York during the week. The city will be filled with art in all its possible forms to the delight of art connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
