Henry Moore was a world-renowned English sculptor whose work is now exhibited in public locations and institutions across the world. The impact that the famous Parisian cabaret Moulin Rouge had on popular culture cannot be overstated. This poster by the French illustrator Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec is an incredible relic of its time. Printed in about 3,000 copies at the time of its release, it was dedicated to advertising two dancers, La Goulue and “No-Bones” Valentin. Both were the stars of Moulin Rouge, which was only two years old when the poster was first printed.
