Art Dubai is fairly dubbed the most significant art gathering in the Middle East. This year’s event, held at Madinat Jumeirah, will be the 18th edition of the iconic fair, focused on experience sharing and new voice discovery. Art Dubai 2025 will be held from April 18 to April 20, 2025, and is expected to host over 120 contemporary galleries, traditional and digital, representing 40+ countries. Organizers of Art Dubai 2025
The annual art event is organized in close partnership with governmental bodies and private business entities targeting cultural education and promotion of the UAE cultural sector. The lead partner of Art Dubai is Julius Bär, a wealth management consulting firm. Among others are Piaget, Huna, and the Dubai Ministry of Culture.
Art Dubai also works in partnership with Dubai Collection, the city’s first institutional art collection held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, which aims at reshaping the traditional processes of art curation and preservation.
The educational program of Art Dubai is organized in partnership with A.R.M. Holdings and Campus Art Dubai, two national leaders in the promotion of professional development, training, and mentoring in art. Campus Art Dubai celebrates its 12th anniversary this year, making over a decade of the organizers’ commitment to cultural education and training. Educational programs are now held for over 15,000 students in 100+ schools across the UAE.
What to Expect from This Year’s Edition of Art Dubai?
The visitors will be treated to a realm of cutting-edge presentations of modern and contemporary art. Among the highlights of Art Dubai 2025 are Art Dubai Contemporary, which will showcase galleries from around the world, Bawwaba’s presentations of art pieces created specifically for the show or within the past year, which will be curated by Mirjam Varadinis, Art Dubai Modern featuring works by the region’s Modern artists, and Art Dubai Digital dedicated to digital art.
Everybody interested in the latest art trends and thought leadership in the industry can attend the annual interdisciplinary conference Global Art Forum, also held under the auspices of Art Dubai.
