Schorr’s iconic Da Race murals are no longer a series of paintings on permanent surfaces only; they are now part of a traveling gallery operated by our dedicated team of art handlers.
Da Race on Wheels: Art Project by Mitchell Schorr & Fine Art Shippers
Da Race is Mitchell Schorr’s iconic series of murals that depict race cars and an ordinary ice cream truck, changing their race positions with each new painting created by the artist. Located at many different locations around Manhattan, Da Race is an ever-progressing auto race that keeps everyone in suspense about the possible winner.
Schorr’s Da Race murals can be found not only in New York but also far beyond the city and the state. A bunch of murals is, for example, in and around Burlington in Vermont.
“Da Race on Wheels” is a natural continuation of the Da Race story, but now race cars and everybody’s favorite ice cream truck are really on the move. Mitchell Schorr painted his new Da Race piece right on the Fine Art Shippers art shuttle van that travels around the country, thus raising the race to a national level.
