Fine Art Shippers was hired to deliver an amazing sculpture by Kevin Francis Gray from Joshua Kodner Auctioneers, a premier auction house located in Dania Beach, FL, to our client in Aventura, FL. Joshua Kodner Auctioneers specializes in art, gems, jewelry, and antiques and offers art trading and appraisal services to private collectors and art institutions.
The owner of Kevin Francis Gray’s marble sculpture, titled “Ballerina” (18 x 21 x 71 in, 662 lbs), was conscious about its safe arrival at their home because of the artwork’s large dimensions and heavy weight. For this reason, we teamed up with Safebound Luxury Movers to pack the sculpture in protective materials with a reasonable degree of cushioning for further moving it to the destination. After the sculpture’s thorough packing, it was loaded into the truck and fastened with secure belts to prevent the slightest risk of shifting in transit. The artwork was safely unloaded upon arrival at the client’s location, unpacked, and placed on the pedestal for everyone to enjoy.
