Modern and Contemporary Photography at Pace/MacGill Gallery

At Fine Art Shippers, we are very proud to work with some of the best NYC galleries, shipping artwork for them around the world. For example, we work with Agora Gallery and Impact Art Gallery, as well as frequently pick up art from a whole range of other prominent galleries, including the renowned Pace Gallery that has long been one of the premier art spaces in New York. Shipping artwork for these galleries and their clients is an honor for Fine Art Shippers, and we do our best to provide them with the best shipping experience ever. In this blog post, we want to tell you about one more exceptional NYC gallery that we were lucky to visit at Art Basel this past June. We are now talking about Pace/MacGill Gallery that has proven to be one of the best destinations in New York for modern and contemporary photography.

Pace/MacGill Gallery

As you might have already guessed, Pace/MacGill Gallery is part of the well-known Pace Gallery family. It was founded by Peter MacGill, Arne Glimcher, and Richard Solomon in 1983 and since then has been a must-visit NYC destination for all connoisseurs of modern and contemporary photography. Its diverse collection includes works by such masters as Robert Frank, Irving Penn, Harry Callahan, Richard Avedon, and Emmet Gowin, not to mention the finest vintage photographs.

Shipping artwork like that is undoubtedly an amazing experience, and we look forward to working with Pace/MacGill Gallery in the future!
