Fine Art Shippers is pleased to share the news that Market Art + Design returns to the Bridgehampton Museum for its 11th edition this week, August 12-15. The 2021 fair will feature 80 leading galleries from around the world, presenting an outstanding selection of art and design, along with public projects to celebrate the in-person return of the East End’s premier art event.
11th Edition of Market Art + Design at the Bridgehampton Museum
This year’s edition of Market Art + Design, which will be held in a museum-quality pavilion right next to the Bridgehampton Museum, is arguably the most anticipated art event this summer. One of the first to open its doors to the public after the global lockdown, it will feature modern and contemporary dealers from around the country, local exhibitions, international art galleries, and a whole range of talented artists whose work deserves the attention of the art community.
Among the exhibition highlights are “Lumieres” (2020) by Mark Knoerzer, presented by M. Fine Arts Galerie; “Breeze over the Hills” (2021) by Magdalena Laskowska, presented by Contemopp Gallery; “Thinking Nude (C. 289)” (1994) by Roy Lichtenstein, presented by Benrimon Editions; and “Loyalty” (2021) by Damien Hirst, presented by Adamar Fine Arts.

Along with the main exhibition, Market Art + Design will feature public art installations. These include “Fun and Games,” a handmade carpet with a photorealistic design pulled straight from the pages of 1970s comic books by Kyle Clarkson, presented by Jan Kath Design, and “Meander Sculpture #2” by CHIAOZZA, presented by VSOP Projects.
