Bushwick Open Studios, also known as B.O.S., is one of the most important art events happening in Bushwick. This “open to all” festival is organized by Arts in Bushwick, a unique arts platform aimed at keeping the cultural relevance alive within the neighborhood, as well as helping and connecting Bushwick artists from all walks of life.
B.O.S. first opened its doors in October 2006. At the time, it was a one-day event with a group show, a film festival, open studios, a cabaret, a community parade, and a closing party. Over the years, B.O.S. has grown to become one of the largest events of its kind in the world. The 2019 edition will be held on September 20-22, bringing together hundreds of artists, galleries, non-profit organizations, small businesses, and art connoisseurs. The festival will host art sales, art shows, block parties, and many other activities for everyone to enjoy.
