Russell Tyler

Russell Tyler was born in Summertown, TN in 1981. He received his BFA from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and his MFA from Pratt Institute in New York City. Since then, Russell Tyler has been living and working in Brooklyn. This talented artist is largely known for his geometric abstractions inspired by the work of Josef Albers. However, Tyler’s recent playful paintings showing the new approach to abstraction are no less impressive. You can find some of the best examples of Russell Tyler’s works at Denny Dimin Gallery that represents this distinctive contemporary artist in New York. Highly recommended!
